12mm x 90cm nylon sweeping rod with stainless steel couplings

The 12mm Solid Nylon Liner rods are quadruple crimped to the fittings for maximum reliability. Made of solid stainless steel, they are completely corrosion-resistant and feature double snaps for added safety. Unlike aluminum, which can corrode and wear out when cleaning solid fuel flues, these rods maintain their quality and durability.

These rods are extremely flexible , making them perfect for tight bends and ideal for use in flues from 5" to 8" for wood, pellet, oil, gas and biomass stoves, as well as for cleaning ventilation ducts.

The 90cm length per pole is a deliberate choice: thinner and longer poles lose their stiffness, which can lead to liner slack , increased stress, and eventual breakage. Intensive testing has shown that a slightly stiffer, yet still very flexible 90cm pole performs optimally and can effortlessly make bends of up to 90 degrees.

For best results, it's recommended to use a combination of standard 12 mm liner rods and the stiffer 12 mm version . For example, start with 5–6 standard rods and follow with the stiffer version for efficient and safe canal cleaning.
